Going in the wrong direction

My experience has demonstrated to me time and time again over the years, that people have a seemingly-infinite capacity to seek the most complex way to resolve simple problems.

The paradox of advanced cognitive ability.

...How else can you justify higher fees?

Morning, Dave. I hope you're enjoying the weekend?

I'm sitting here smiling down at my six year old son, who is showing the other kids in his swimming class what a useless swimmer he is! :-> The best way to learn anything, IMO.

In my 'real life' as an IT consultant, I try to justify my cost by showing people their computers are not really quite as complicated as they think. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it. The clients seem to appreciate the effort.

Edit: ...How else can you justify higher investment counseling fees?
